Forest School was filled with excitement this week as Miss Szilvia demonstrated how to use tools for the ancient art of whittling!  Even the ancient Egyptians and Greeks created everyday objects using this impressive skill. Safety prevailed as our students were shown how to carefully carve wooden pieces with the provided knives, and they even practised carving twigs with vegetable peelers! It was great fun!
