Forest School was filled with excitement this week as Miss Szilvia demonstrated how to use tools for the ancient art of whittling!  Even the ancient Egyptians and Greeks created everyday objects using this impressive skill. Safety prevailed as our students were shown how to carefully carve pieces of wood with the knives provided, and they even practised carving twigs using vegetable peelers! It was great fun!
