In this final French unit for Y5/6, students dove into the world of France and pirates, beginning with the port city of Saint-Malo. They practised presenting tourist attractions, describing pirate activities, creating and describing characters, and following clues to find hidden treasure using direct vocabulary. One key takeaway was the importance of giving clear and simple instructions. We especially loved this activity as we were joined by our Pre-Primary learners, who are also exploring pirates in their IPC topic!
