The International School of Flanders (ISF) is a small, vibrant and friendly school with two campuses, in Waterloo and Tervuren, catering for young people aged 2½ to 18.   ISF is a CIS and COBIS accredited school.   

 

We currently have approximately 300 students across both campuses; from 52 different nationalities. Our small class sizes; ensure personal attention to the development of each individual child. 

 


Human Resources and Administration

We are currently looking for a part-time 50% Human Resource and administration person to commence May/June 2024. (ISF Tervuren Campus)

 

The ideal candidates will possess:

  • HR degree and/or relevant experience 

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Good general IT skills

  • A high level of confidentiality with excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.

  • Strong communication skills in English and in Dutch, both written and verbal.

  • The flexibility and willingness to learn and work on one's own initiative.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Previous HR experience and familiarity with Belgian social legislation would be an asset

  • Right to live and work in Belgium

  • The drive and enthusiasm to develop and shape the HR function within ISF, bringing innovative ideas and practices to the forefront

Innovation Lead

 

We are currently looking for a full-time Innovation Lead to join our Leadership Team to start end of August 2024.

 

The ideal candidates will possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, educational technology, business, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of current educational trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in innovative education.

  • Previous experience in education leadership, project management, or innovation-related roles preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Creative and forward-thinking mindset.

  • Proficiency in educational technology tools and software.

  • Commitment to the mission and values of ISF.

Volunteers and Internships

At ISF Tervuren, selected volunteers and student interns can be a welcome resource, complementing teachers' and support staff's work. If you are interested in volunteering or completing your teaching placement, please email the Head of School.  

 

ISF is one school with two campuses, ISF Waterloo catering for children from 2 ½ to 18 years and ISF Tervuren  from 2 ½ to 11 years.  We have a culturally diverse community with students from 48 different nationalities. Our small class sizes (maximum 18 students), ensure personal attention to the development of each child.
