Pre-Primary’s visit to Planckendael Zoo.

As part of Pre-Primary’s IPC topic about Animals we decided to visit Planckendael Zoo.  Excitement had been building for a number of weeks and the trip didn’t disappoint. On a beautifully sunny day we saw a wide variety of animals ranging from koalas to a herd of elephants as well as learning about ‘habitats’, ‘carnivores’ and ‘predators.’  We also learnt some really interesting facts like koalas sleep for 18 hours a day! We then had a well deserved lunch before we visited the other continents that the zoo had to offer. We also had the chance to play on the amazing climbing frames! We then all jumped aboard the minibus with a lot of tired faces onboard!
