Learning at ISF Tervuren

ISF (International School of Flanders) Tervuren is an international primary school situated in the Tervuren commune, near Brussels – please visit our school campus to see our excellent facilities. We are conveniently located just south of Brussels (map).

Our school year starts in September, and classes are divided as follows:

• Early Years: children aged 2,5 - 4 years

• Primary Years: 4 - 11 years

ISF Tervuren is a  Google for Education School.

Our teachers and admin staff are Google Certified Educators, including our Head of Campus, Mrs Órla Mc Loughlin. Here’s why we decided to ”Go Google“.

Students access Google learning resources using Chromebooks & Tablets and Interactive Smart Boards in every classroom. The teaching takes place mainly on the campus and occasionally online.

We follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) in Primary School. 

IPC encourages students to develop the ability to acquire the skills required to become life-long learners. It is an international, thematic based program and students complete six themes each year.

The following subjects are covered in IPC:

Art, Geography, History, ICT Technology, Language, Arts, Music, Sport, Science and Society.
