CoronaVirus School Closure

Late last night the Belgian government announced that school campuses will be closed in the whole of Belgium as of Monday 16 March until Monday 06 April followed by two weeks Easter holiday until 20 April.

The government has made this difficult decision in order to reduce the spread of the Corona virus. As a result, ISF has also decided that ISF Waterloo- and ISF Tervuren school campuses will therefore be closed from next Monday 16 March- 20 April.  

We are fortunate that ISF teachers and leaders have been working tirelessly the last week to ensure we have a 'distance learning' plan which allows students to continue their learning from home according to their age.  You will receive an email explaining how this will work and what is expected from your children later today.

The government has also imposed other restrictions such as:

• All cafes, bars and restaurants will be closed from tomorrow
• Public transport will be limited and staggered
• Shops will be open during the week but closed on weekends with the exception of supermarkets and pharmacies

The school is open as normal today and the school Office will remain open in the coming weeks.  If you have further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
